Project Spotlight: Sophisticated Hall Bathroom & Laundry Room Remodel

At Arlington Custom Builders, we pride ourselves on combining high-quality craftsmanship with thoughtful design, and our latest project is a perfect example of that. Partnering closely with our in-house designer, Brenda, we transformed a hall bathroom and laundry room into spaces that are as functional as they are beautiful.

Hall Bathroom: Elevated Rustic Charm with Modern Detail

This hall bathroom was designed with functionality and separation in mind, featuring distinct areas for the sink and shower.

For the vanity area, we added visual interest and texture by using a half-brick wall behind the mirror. It brings a rustic, yet refined, look to the space. We installed custom Omega cabinetry, finished with sleek brass hardware that pairs beautifully with the Taj Mahal quartzite countertop, a stone known for its subtle warmth and luxurious feel.

The flooring is a contemporary 24″ x 48″ tile, chosen for its scale and style, helping to visually expand the room while maintaining easy maintenance.

In the shower, we went with 12″ x 48″ porcelain tiles to keep the look clean and streamlined. To enhance the natural variation of the tile, we used two different grout colors tailored to the tones in the tile itself, proof that even the smallest details can make a big impact.

Laundry Room: Function Meets Timeless Style

The laundry room is often overlooked, but not here. We designed this space to be just as elegant and functional as any other room in the home.

Like the bathroom, we used Taj Mahal quartzite for the countertops, which adds a level of sophistication and ties the two spaces together. The backsplash is a sleek tile design, providing both protection and style above the deep farmhouse sink.

Storage was key in this room, and we maximized it with Omega custom cabinetry, offering both closed storage and open shelving with natural woven baskets for convenience and charm.

The floors are wood-style porcelain tile, offering the beauty of hardwood with the durability needed for a utility space. The entry features stunning shaker-style solid fir doors with custom casing, giving this practical room an elevated and finished look.
