Project Spotlight: Arizona Home Remodel with Exterior, Bathroom & TV Room Updates

Some remodels are about updating a space. Others completely change the way a home feels. This Arizona home remodel was definitely the second. We updated the exterior, primary bathroom, and TV room to create spaces that feel warmer, more functional, and better connected to the way the homeowners live every day.

Giving the Exterior a Whole New Look
One of the biggest transformations happened before you even walk through the front door.

The original exterior had a traditional Spanish lace stucco finish, and the homeowners wanted something cleaner, softer, and more timeless. We restuccoed the entire home with a sand finish, which instantly gave it a more updated custom-home feel.

We also added beautiful Hulquist stone from Wisconsin across the front of the house, bringing in texture and natural warmth that works perfectly with the Arizona landscape.

Other exterior upgrades included:

• A new circle paver driveway
• Andersen windows on the front of the home
• A new mahogany front door
• Low screen walls in the front yard
• Updated landscaping using the homeowner’s existing boulders

The end result feels elevated without losing the character of the home, something we always try to achieve in our remodels.

A Primary Bathroom Designed to Feel Like a Retreat
The primary bathroom was completely reworked to create a more open and functional layout.

We removed the existing closet and transformed that space into a large curbless shower finished with oversized 24” x 48” Italian tile. The floor-to-ceiling tile and seamless entry make the entire room feel bigger, cleaner, and more relaxing.

To make up for the storage space, we built a brand-new 10×10 closet addition that gives the homeowners even more room than they had before.

• Taj Mahal quartzite countertops
• Omega cabinetry
• Quartersawn oak cabinets with a Desert stain finish

Everything came together in a way that feels warm, calm, and timeless, exactly what you want in a primary bathroom.

A TV Room Built for Everyday Living
Sometimes the smaller spaces end up making the biggest difference in how a home functions day to day.

For the TV room, we recessed the television wall and added custom wood paneling to create a clean focal point for the space. Below the TV, we installed storage cabinetry to help keep everything organized while still feeling custom and intentional.

It’s simple, functional, and fits the home perfectly.
