What's Happening in Scottsdale This Month?
As the Valley continues to cool down and ease into fall, Scottsdale residents are gearing up to have an exciting and eventful month full of fairs, art walks, and live music. With so many awesome events happening around the city, we decided to pick our favorite three to share with you!
October Scottsdale Events
MIMFest 2014: Global Music Festival (October 18th – 19th)
One of the newest and hottest attractions in Scottsdale is the Music Instrument Museum located at 4725 E Mayo Blvd. For the first time ever, the MIM will be hosting a Global Music Festival to shine a spotlight on some of the best musical traditions from around the world. This two-day event will include musicians from around the world, as well as dancers, street performers, Four Peaks beer, and some of the best food trucks from around the valley. Girl’s Night Out (October 15th)
This one is just for the ladies! The Scottsdale Quarter — home of some of the finest fashion and dining in Scottsdale — is hosting a Girl’s Night Out full of incredible deals at some of your favorite shops. For one night only, stores around the center will be holding raffles, specials, and giveaways. There will also be live music as well as drink and food specials! Register for the event here.
Oktoberfest (October 10th – 12th)
The annual Tempe Oktoberfest is happening yet again at the Tempe Beach Park located just south of Old Town Scottsdale. Keeping one of the oldest German traditions alive, the Tempe Oktoberfest is a completely free event featuring some of the best food and beer from restaurants and breweries from around the valley. The event starts at 4 PM and ends this Sunday!
