Scottsdale Home Labeled as Ebola Quarantine Zone by Vandals

scottsdale custom home buildersIf you haven’t been paying attention to recent news, the Ebola scare in America has become a real threat. Cities across the country including Boston, Cleveland, and Dallas have all been experiencing possible Ebola outbreaks as multiple US residents have died from the virus.

As Americans have become more and more worried over the past few weeks, Scottsdale residents have become even more so as the Rio Montana community woke up to a startling message on the wall of a neighboring home.

The message, “Ebola Quarantine Zone,” was the first thing a few residents saw as they woke up Tuesday morning, immediately contacting others in the community. The Scottsdale Police Department was also contacted and, according to an article on AZ Central, they are working on finding the suspects at this very moment. For more, watch the video below:

Many residents in the community believe that because the majority of Scottsdale schools are now on Fall Break, the vandals were most likely teenagers from a nearby high school.

As many Scottsdale custom home builders will tell you, acts like these are no laughing matters. People spend thousands upon millions of dollars on bathroom remodeling, kitchen remodeling, or complete home restoration, and when vandals treat their work in such a way, it’s offensive, rude, and disheartening.

Scottsdale Bathroom Remodeling Trends

Scottsdale bathroom remodeling

In today’s modern society, the bathroom is no longer looked upon as just a place to do one’s business. Bathrooms have taken on a feeling of relaxation and comfort — a room all its own. This is why one of the most common ways to spruce up your Scottsdale home is with a bathroom remodel.

Whether you’re looking for something luxurious or just some basic improvements or upgrades, we have some of the most popular Scottsdale bathroom remodeling trends listed below. Take a look and get inspired for your next bathroom remodel!

Scottsdale Bathroom Remodeling Trends

Tuscan/Meditarrean Master Bathrooms

Easily one of the more popular remodel designs in Scottsdale, a Tuscan-style master bathroom is the way to go if you’re looking for a warm and inviting bathroom. With tan, gold, deep orange, and burnt yellow tones, a good Tuscan-style bathroom usually includes earthy features like natural stone or granite sinks and counter tops blended with the use of natural wood stools, benches, or cabinets.

Deep Colors

If remodeling your master bathroom seems a bit too much for your budget, try to give some attention to your guest bathroom by using deep, bold colors. You can accomplish this with either a simple repainting, or take it to the next level by applying glass tiles that use colors like magenta, deep purple, or a dark blue. Compliment these bold colors with a new stainless steel sink!

Green Machines

The “going green,” trend has not only taken over Scottsdale, but the rest of the United States. Conserving water is a big deal here in the Valley of the Sun, which is why home owners all across Scottsdale are switching to “green” toilets and sinks that help to keep water wasting to a minimum. Not only are these appliances good for the environment, they also come in cool, sleek designs that are perfect for any home.

Finding the Perfect Scottsdale Custom Home Builder

scottsdale custom home builderKnown for its luxury attractions like golf, shopping, dining, professional athletics, resorts, and nightlife, it’s no wonder why Scottsdale, Arizona is one of the fastest growing cities in America. In fact, since the year 2000, Scottsdale’s population has experienced a growth of over 40%.

One of the things that makes “The Most Livable City,” such a unique place to live is its abundance in custom homes. All throughout Scottsdale, anyone can find neighborhoods crawling with homes designed to the exact specifications of the buyer. But how does one find the perfect Scottsdale custom home builder? We’ve put together a few of the most important qualities you and your family should consider when looking for the right custom home builder.

Qualities of a Perfect Scottsdale Custom Home Builder

A good listener — Easily one of the most overlooked qualities of a perfect custom home builder is the ability to listen. Not only should your custom home builder hear what you are saying, but actually take the time to listen to the details, styles, and themes you are interested in to best complete your overall goal.

High quality resources — Because custom homes require a lot of different skill sets, your perfect home builder should have an extensive list of people to call on for any and every job. Without this quality, your home will be missing some of the key qualities that make it a custom home.

Organization — This one almost goes without saying, but you’d be surprised to find how many families are left waiting for their home to be finished long after the proposed completion date. A lack of organization is typically the root of this problem, so make sure your future Scottsdale custom home builder is an organized one!

Here at Arlington Custom Home Builders, we proudly exude all of the above listed qualities, and look forward to working with you to build your dream home. Call us today for more information.
