2014 CALA International Festival
This weekend, The Civic Space Park in Downtown Phoenix will be heating up as the CALA (Celebración Artística de las Américas Alliance) brings Phoenicians a taste of Latin American culture. With incredible food, music, and even some speakers, the CALA International Festival is a great way to explore the many fascinating things Latin American culture brings to our country. The event is free to attend and takes place from 7 to 9 PM this evening and 11 AM to 11 PM on Saturday.
Every Friday night, The Torch Theatre — one of the longest-running improv theatres in Phoenix — takes some of the most trending headlines from newspapers, magazines, and online blogs, and improvise scenes based on those stories. In this show, the audience chooses the headline they want to see performed, making this one of the funnest and most interactive shows in the city!
Although Golfland Sunsplash is open all year round, this Saturday is a great time to take the whole family out for some mini-golf, arcade games, and other awesome activities. From 10 AM to 1 PM, you and your family can play 18 wholes for $7.25, an hour of arcade games for $8, and one game of laser tag for $6! These deals won’t last long, so pack up the family and head on down to Golfland Sunsplash tomorrow!
